2021 Class Rules
These rules are geared towards the Axial SCX24 but other 1/24 scale vehicles will be allowed if there is enough interest. Feel free to join our Facebook group for more information.
Stock Class
This class is intended to allow vehicles with little or no modifications to compete. Very limited upgrades are allowed to help limit the cost associated with competition.
| Body | Any lexan body that resembles a full size vehicle. When viewed from above body must cover at least half the width of the tires. Bodies must cover battery, receiver, speed control, and motor. No tube chassis. Body may be lightly trimmed but must resemble stock body. |
| Chassis | Must use stock chassis rails at stock length. |
| Bumper | Must run front and rear bumper. Bumpers may be changed but must be mounted in stock location and must be wider than frame rails. |
| Motor | Stock brushed motor only |
| Battery | Stock 2s lipo battery only. Battery may be relocated but must be attached to chassis and must stay under the body. |
| Electronics | Stock electronics (radio, ESC/receiver) only. Servo may be upgraded. |
| Wheels | 1.0" plastic wheels only. One piece wheels or beadlocks allowed. |
| Tires | Any tire. 2.25" maximum outside diameter. |
| Drivetrain | Stock axles and driveshafts. Full time 4WD only. No 6x6 or dually setups. Front wheel steering only. |
| Suspension | Must use stock shocks. Springs may be changed or removed. Suspension links must be stock. |
| Misc | No added weight to vehicle |
Modified Class
This class is for vehicles with modifications to make them perform better than stock. Most vehicles will probably fall into this class.
| Body | Any lexan or hard plastic body that resembles a full size vehicle. No tire coverage rule. Bodies must cover battery, receiver, speed control, and motor. No tube chassis. Body may be trimmed. |
| Chassis | Must use rail chassis chassis that resembles stock chassis. Aftermarket chassis permitted but must be similar to stock configuration. |
| Bumper | No bumper requirements |
| Motor | Any brushed motor allowed. Motor must be mounted in stock location and must fit between frame rails. No brushless motors. |
| Battery | Any 2s lipo battery. Battery may be relocated but must be attached to chassis and must stay under the body. |
| Electronics | No electronics limitations. |
| Wheels | 1.0" plastic or metal wheels. One piece wheels or beadlocks allowed. |
| Tires | Any tire. 2.5" maximum outside diameter. |
| Drivetrain | Full time 4WD only. No 6x6 or dually setups. Front wheel steering only. |
| Suspension | Aftermarket shocks allowed. Must use 4 shocks - 1 per tire. Suspension links may be changed. |
Open Class
This is a class for any vehicle that doesn’t fall into the Stock or Modified class. Tube chassis, 4 wheel steering, brushless, etc.

| Motor | Any motor. |
| Battery | Any 2s lipo battery. |

| Drivetrain | No 6x6 or dually setups. Dig or 4WS permitted, but not both. |
| Suspension | No suspension limitations. |
